Invoice Maker — MapleFlow · Last updated: August 8, 2026

Invoice Maker — MapleFlow ("MapleFlow", "the app") is built and maintained by Temitope Ajiboye ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. The short version: your business data stays on your device. We do not run servers that store your invoices, clients, or business details, and we do not require an account.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

  • Business profile — your business name, logo, address, contact details, tax numbers, and branding preferences.
  • Clients — names, emails, phone numbers, and addresses you enter for the people and businesses you invoice.
  • Invoices, estimates, and items — line items, prices, taxes, notes, payment terms, and document history.
  • App settings — currency, templates, reminder preferences, and similar configuration.

This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it — for example by sending an invoice PDF by email or messages, exporting a backup, or using your device's own backup features (such as iCloud device backup, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy).

We cannot see, access, or recover this data. If you delete the app without making a backup, your data is permanently deleted.

Data Processed by Third Parties

MapleFlow does not include advertising SDKs or third-party analytics trackers. The app uses a small number of service providers strictly to make purchases work:

Apple (App Store / StoreKit)

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Apple handles your payment information; we never see your card details, billing address, or Apple ID credentials. Apple's handling of this data is described in Apple's privacy policy.

RevenueCat (subscription management)

We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage subscription entitlements (e.g. unlocking MapleFlow Pro). RevenueCat receives:

  • an anonymous, randomly generated app user identifier;
  • purchase receipt and transaction data from Apple;
  • basic device information (device model, OS version, app version, locale).

RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, invoices, clients, or any business data. RevenueCat processes this information on our behalf as described in its privacy policy.

What We Don't Do

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
  • We do not collect your invoices, clients, or business data.
  • We do not show third-party ads or use advertising trackers.
  • We do not require an account or sign-in.
  • We do not use your data for profiling or automated decision-making.

Permissions

The app may request access to:

  • Photo library / camera — only if you choose to add a business logo or attach an image. Selected images are stored locally with your data.
  • Notifications — only if you enable payment reminders. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device; no notification data is sent to us.

You can decline or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.

Data Retention & Deletion

Because your data lives on your device, you are in full control:

  • Delete individual records (clients, invoices, estimates) inside the app at any time.
  • Delete everything by deleting the app from your device.
  • Subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained according to their respective policies. You can request deletion of your RevenueCat-held purchase data by contacting us at the address below.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR in the EEA/UK and PIPEDA in Canada), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Since your business data is stored only on your device, most of these rights are exercised directly in the app. For data held by our service providers (purchase records), contact us and we will assist within applicable legal timeframes.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

International Transfers

Purchase-related data processed by Apple and RevenueCat may be stored on servers in the United States or other countries. These providers implement safeguards for international transfers as described in their privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

MapleFlow is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region). If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.

Security

Your data is protected by your device's built-in security (device passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, and iOS data protection). Data sent to Apple and RevenueCat for purchase validation is transmitted over encrypted (TLS) connections. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but keeping your data on-device significantly reduces exposure.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or its release notes where practical.
